Here are some of the Horseback Riding lessons and services we provide. Each class runs 90 minutes. We ask for advance payment and have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Students learn how to be safe on the ground around horses and thus growing confidence. Ground work including lunging with a line and liberty/free lunging skills are basics taught to students. All details of how to tack up a horse with a variety of saddles are taught to students. Interested students are invited to observe farrier, dental and massage appointments to get a more in depth experience. Some limited volunteer opportunities are available for advanced students. We also offer virtual classes for those unable to visit the horses directly. At Pegasus we take hygiene seriously with soap and water hand washing as necessary. Students are introduced to tack cleaning and learn how to properly store all equipment. Special moonlight rides and other advanced opportunities can be found at Pegasus.
